Iedereen die het nog over ‘(on)verdraagzaamheid’ heeft moest met spekvet worden ingesmeerd en aan een roedel hongerige hyena’s worden gevoederd.
‘Verdraagzaamheid’ impliceert namelijk dat er iets gedoogd, ondergaan, lijdzaam verdragen moet worden. Het ter hoogte van Vlaanderen samenwonen met andere wereldburgers moet vanzelfsprekend zijn en mag nooit worden voorgesteld als een opoffering, iets wat men nu eenmaal moet ‘verdragen’. Tijdens de bezetting, ja toxe9n moesten we noodgedwongen verdraagzaam zijn, sommigen waren toen zelfs txe9 verdraagzaam meen ik uit de geschiedenisles te hebben onthouden.

Sterke woorden in tijden waar ‘Hoe leef ik samen met anderen?‘ verdorie moeilijker lijkt dan niet vergeten de toiletbril terug omlaag te klappen na het ledigen onzer blaas. Een mens zou haast niet meer naar het binnenlands nieuws durven luisteren. Wij danken alvast Filip & Co voor de gezellige sfeer waarin het Vlaamsche land zich momenteel bevindt.

Maar laat het ook duidelijk zijn dat niemand het recht heeft deze misdaad “moreel” in onze schoenen te schuiven. In de bijna dertigjarige geschiedenis van Vlaams Blok en van Vlaams Belang hebben wij steeds elke vorm van geweld fundamenteel afgewezen en veroordeeld. Nooit hebben wij in woord of geschrift opgeroepen tot welke vorm van agressief geweld dan ook.

Het is zowat onmogelijk om in de Belgische jazz/folkscene te doorkruisen zonder trompettist Bart Maris tegen te komen.
Wat de man zoal uit zijn koperblazertje weet te krijgen, mag met een gerust hart fantastisch genoemd worden en met zijn karakteristieke kop is hij niet weg te denken van eender welk podium waarop hij zijn opwachting maakt.

Zamu-laureaat en net genomineerd voor de Paul Acket Award voor Artist Deserving Wider Recognition, uitgereikt tijdens het Amsterdamse North Sea Jazz Festival, blijft hij toch nog de tijd te vinden om elke woensdagavond in Hot Club De Gand een fijne jamsessie te leiden.
